Kesar Mango Lassi

Ingredients

  • 2 Small Ripe Mangoes
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 2 scoop Vanilla Ice-cream
  • ½ cup Water
  • 5-6 strands Saffron
  • 1 tsp. Cardamom powder
  • 1 cup Crushed Ice
  • 1 tbsp Chopped pistachios

Instructions

  • Soak saffron strands in warm water while you cut mangoes.
  • Blend mangoes, plain unsweetened Greek yogurt, vanilla ice-cream with cardamom powder and saffron water in a blender until it is smooth and creamy in consistency. Add more water if you prefer your lassi to be runny consistency.
  • Pour kesar mango lassi in a glass and garnish with cinnamon power, pistachios and saffron strands. Serve chilled. It is a perfect beverage to enjoy during hot summer days.

Notes

  • Canned Mangoes or mango pulp can be used instead of cubed mangoes. If you use fresh mangoes, make sure they are ripe and sweet.
  • Honey can be adjusted per you taste. Refined sugar works well too.
  • You can also add protein powder and it will make it perfect after workout drink.
