- 2 Small Ripe Mangoes
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 2 scoop Vanilla Ice-cream
- ½ cup Water
- 5-6 strands Saffron
- 1 tsp. Cardamom powder
- 1 cup Crushed Ice
- 1 tbsp Chopped pistachios
Soak saffron strands in warm water while you cut mangoes.
Blend mangoes, plain unsweetened Greek yogurt, vanilla ice-cream with cardamom powder and saffron water in a blender until it is smooth and creamy in consistency. Add more water if you prefer your lassi to be runny consistency.
Pour kesar mango lassi in a glass and garnish with cinnamon power, pistachios and saffron strands. Serve chilled. It is a perfect beverage to enjoy during hot summer days.
- Canned Mangoes or mango pulp can be used instead of cubed mangoes. If you use fresh mangoes, make sure they are ripe and sweet.
- Honey can be adjusted per you taste. Refined sugar works well too.
- You can also add protein powder and it will make it perfect after workout drink.
